Product Update, Kickstarter Shipping Date, Pics and More!

If you backed us on Kickstarter, I want to start by saying thank you.
The last couple of months were busy in the best way possible. A lot happened fast, and most of it came directly from feedback we received from growers, nurseries, and gardeners like you.
Here is where things landed.
Why We Changed the Pot Shape
After our Kickstarter campaign took off, we started hearing from growers almost right away.
The message was consistent. They liked the idea. They liked the material. But they asked the same question over and over.
Can you make the pot round instead of square
Round pots work better in most growing systems. Roots develop more evenly. They fit into standard trays. Watering is more consistent. Growers have decades of experience with round containers.
So we listened.
We redesigned the SelfEco Garden Pot into a four inch round shape. While we were at it, we improved the pull tabs and added more drainage holes for anyone who tends to overwater.
The new design performs better and fits more growing setups. That change came directly from real world use.
The 4 inch round plantable pot is now one of our most used sizes.

Why We Changed the Pack Size
The next update came from more feedback.
After talking with growers and gardeners, it became clear that five pots did not quite make sense. Six fits better into how people grow and plan.
So we changed the pack size.
If you backed a five pack, you will receive six pots. No extra cost. One extra pot.
Sometimes the right move is also the simple one.
Shipping Update
Earth Day was coming up fast, and we wanted to hit it.
All rewards shipped on Monday, April 18. That included US and international orders.
Most backers received their pots by Earth Day Friday. The rest arrived over the weekend. International orders took longer, as expected, but everything was on the move.
Seeing those boxes go out the door was a big moment for us.
What We Need From You Now
Now that the pots are out in the world, we still need your help.
When you start planting, share what you are working on. Try something new. Give a pot to a friend. Run your own side by side test if you want.
If you share online, use the hashtag SelfEcoGarden. We want to see what you grow and how the pots perform in real gardens.
Some of the best ideas we have seen came from people just experimenting in their own space.
Looking Ahead
Kickstarter helped us get started, but this is only the beginning.
Everything we changed came from listening. That will not stop.
Thanks for being part of this early chapter. Now go plant something.
