Eco+ Pots are a more sustainable alternative to traditional plastic garden containers, without asking growers, retailers, or home gardeners to change how they work. They look like plastic, handle like plastic, and perform like plastic, but they are made entirely from plant based materials.

These containers are made from PLA, a biopolymer created from natural sugars found in corn and sugar beet plant parts grown in the U.S. Through a controlled process, those sugars are turned into a durable material that acts like plastic but is much better for the environment.

Eco+ Pots are designed to be strong enough for shipping, handling, retail display, and growing plants above ground. When their job is done, they break down far faster than traditional petroleum based pots. Even when thrown away, Eco+ containers will break down in the landfill hundreds of years faster than standard plastic containers.

This updated Eco+ formulation was developed after years of testing to balance sustainability with real world durability across different climates, soils, and growing conditions.
